This role is a new role within Edrington’s Travel Retail team to drive Beam Suntory sales and build brand equity through customer relationship and close monitoring of stores activity based in Dubai.

 

The Account Manager will ensure that Edrington achieves the KPIs set but the Commercial Manager for the Beam Suntory portfolio within the commercial area of the Gulf Travel Retail and implement the strategic plan for the region with will ensure growth for the markets.

 

Reporting to the Commercial Manager Middle East & Africa, key responsibilities for this role include:

 

  • Developing quality relationship with TR customers across the Gulf region.

  • Creating joint account plans with customers, negotiate pricing, assortment, campaigns and visibility

  • Managing individual accounts P&Ls

  • Tracking Price Support A&Ps

  • Providing shipment forecast

  • Managing dedicated shop-floor sales consultant team to maximise brand visibility at retail and drive sales including: KPI setting, measurement of performance and incentive remittance
  • Proactively seeking new profitable business opportunities.

 

To be successful in this role applicants should be able to demonstrate an ability to build excellent relationships and have a strong commercial acumen. An ability to understand and analyse financial information, an ability to negotiate and trade marketing skills are all key to this role. Ideally you will be degree educated with experience of working in a commercial role for an international organisation. Excellent communication skills and an ability to speak English fluently are essential.
