Following recent promotions, two fantastic opportunities have arisen to join the Business Technology team within Edrington, one permanent role which will be based at our manufacturing base at 2500 Great Western Road Glasgow, and the 6-months temporary role, based at our HQ at 100 Queen Street, Glasgow.
The BRM acts as a liaison between Business Technology and the Business Units to understand both business operational and development needs. The role will be responsible to manage, oversee and prioritise demand for changes in technology and its alignment with business strategy.
Reporting to the Head of Business Relationship Management, key responsibilities for this role include:
Manage the technology pipeline.
Represent the Business Technology function within Edrington and act as a single point of focus to deliver solutions, services and consulting support.
Manage the service provided to each business unit and act as key contact point.
Understand each business units technology requirements and work with them to define the process and business case.
Manage each business unit to eliminate reproduction of systems on different platforms.
Work with the Business Units so that the Business Technology team are aware of any potential projects.
Undertake regular meeting with suppliers on service level performance.
Undertake regular meetings with business units to ensure high standards are maintained.
To succeed in this role you will have the ability to make decisions and collaborate with other stakeholders. Your presentation, communication, project management and analytical skills must be excellent. You will be a subject matter expert with an ability to communicate complex problems in a non-technical and simplified manner. Knowledge of SAP (Order2cash, Procure2Pay), CRM (Preferably Salesforce) or BI would be highly desirable. You should be highly organised, able to work using your own initiative and have excellent attention to detail.
