As we build and ability to deliver digital projects for Edrington brands we have a new and exciting opportunity for a Digital Project Manager to join the IT team. This is a key role that is responsible for the delivery and operation of digital projects for Edrington brands.  It is a business focused role that requires a high degree of acumen and a depth of appreciation of the specific demands, techniques, technologies and tools pertinent to creating exceptional digital experiences for our consumers.

Reporting to the Head of Consumer Applications, key duties and responsibilities for this role include:-

  • Working collaboratively with other business technology, brands and e-commerce teams
  • Acting as a champion and change agent to create and sustain enterprise digital capabilities
  • Setting project deliverables, mobilise resources and create project timeline and artefacts
  • Liaising with partners and suppliers to ensure value and quality of service
  • Leading, monitoring and managing projects from inception to delivery
  • Proactively ensuring BAU solutions are monitored, secure and robust
  • Managing any operational incidents and provide support for any Consumer Applications
  • Collaborating with the brand teams to manage the UAT phase of delivery and ensure it is suitably robust
  • Identifying and mitigating risks in the design and implementation of solutions
  • Assisting business users to clarify requirements
  • Ensuring appropriate/effective Change Control is applied to Project Artefacts
  • Ensuring appropriate/effective artefacts are created and maintained accordingly to process
  • Checking conformance to standards and decisions during implementation and deployment of solutions
  • Contributing to the Continuous Improvement, efficiency and effectiveness of all team process

 

To be success full in this role you will have experience in delivering digital, ecommerce and CRM projects, with an appreciation of agile/lean methodologies. You will have excellent communication skills, an ability to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders and an understanding of the evolving digital world. It is essential that you are able to clearly communicate digital concepts and technologies to business leaders as well and business concepts to technologists.
