We have an exciting opportunity to join the Regional Power Brands (RPB) business unit of Edrington in the new role of e-commerce channel manager. This role will be based at our HQ in Glasgow City Centre.
As e-commerce becomes an important brand building and profit enhancing opportunity for our business, it’s essential we have the expertise in place to ensure the RPB business unit gains develops and implements an effective e-commerce strategy across all brands; a strategy that not only transforms this channel for us, but allows it live comfortably and seamlessly alongside our more traditional routes to market.
Reporting to the Regional Managing Director for Europe, the individual in this role will be an e-commerce subject matter expert, experienced in the developments, technology and options available to us. In addition, they must have a commercial mind-set and understanding of existing routes to market to ensure we exploit and maximise this opportunity without adverse impact on our existing business.
The role has three core areas of responsibility; ensuring consumer driven purchase experiences, developing consistent e-commerce operational frameworks and ensuring we the right tools as assets are in place for e-commerce. In the short term, leading the development of the Amazon strategy across Europe with be a key focus area.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will be;
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Be a subject matter expert in e-commerce with previous track record in this channel
Commercially aware with strong account management skill-set
A natural planner, organizer and multi-tasker
Strong interpersonally, with excellent relationship building skills
Analytically strong, with the ability to conceptualize but also execute / deliver
Self-starting in approach, able to work independently, but also a team player who can collaborate with a variety of teams across the business.
An interest in the consumer products and drinks industry
