These positions have opened due an existing requirement for Peat hill operations but a requirement for additional production volume at the Highland Park distillery.
This role will be a split role, April –Sept performing peat hill duties and then Oct-March being one of a team of 3 warehousemen and a supervisor responsible for all NMS fillings and all cask management on site. This position obviously requires flexibility. Full training will be given in all areas of the role.
The role is manual and candidates will need to take this into consideration.
Also to note: Success in this role does not a guarantee a shift working position in the future.
The successful candidate will be expected to work within their small team to manage and cover in case of absence any of the following as required:

UK driving licence essential
Licence to drive a C1 category vehicle would be helpful but not essential
Problem solving skills and a practical hands-on nature
Confined Space Training would helpful but not essential
These roles will be split to accommodate the first six months as peat hill workers (£9.63p/h), and the second six months in the warehouse (at which point hourly rate will increase to £12.97p/h).
