Due to an upcoming maternity leave, an exciting opportunity has arisen with the Regional Power Brands team for a Global Marketing Assistant on a fixed term contract for 9 months.


The purpose of this role is to provide business support to the Global Regional Power Brands team across a varying range of activities and proactively represent the brand teams as required, whether directly to joint venture stakeholders, 3rd Party distributors or within the Edrington organisation


Reporting to the Marketing Manager, key Responsibilities include;


  • Maintaining brand hub/ digital assets for all brands across RPB.

  • Working proactively with the brand teams to generate internal PR, for example home pages, internal events etc

  • Acting as main point of contact for general consumer enquiries

  • Understanding Point of purchase strategy and work directly with marketing manager to communicate this and implement across the brand team and key markets.

  • Managing the annual buying POS windows and the associated global POS system

  • Partnering with our POS buyer and external suppliers to develop POS items in a timely fashion

  • Coordinating, organising, executing and attending (where appropriate) team meetings, market visits/training, brand and department events, global workshops etc

  • Providing core administrative support to the team when needed.

  • Proactively leading and developing (in collaboration with brand teams) global updates when necessary

  • Ownership of and assistance with ad hoc marketing related projects


The successful candidate will ideally have a marketing or business related degree and have strong IT skills including Excel, PowerPoint and Word. A working knowledge of SAP would also be advantageous. Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Strong organisation and prioritisation skills are vital, as is a positive, can-do attitude.
