We have an excellent opportunity, on a temporary basis, for a new position within our Global Supply Chain Team. This role requires decision making based on customer demand, optimisation of production run lengths, product campaigns & material availability for the long-term planning horizon.  You will be part of a busy team who work to tight deadlines, therefore it is essential that you can work well within a team environment.

 

Reporting to the Global Supply Chain Team Leader & Sales and Operations Manager, duties and responsibilities of this role include:

 

  • Communicating demand changes to Scheduling team to allow production plan update with minimum disruption to the plan

  • Process Exception orders through Resource, Procurement & Scheduling teams and feedback to Global Supply Chain team as required

  • Participation at the Business Development Forums, representing the Planning team

  • Intercompany master data requirements maintained & managed in SAP, APO & SharePoint

  • Reporting of Aged Stock to enable management of the Business Units using-away stock as part of the Aged Stock process

  • Driver of continuous improvement of core supply chain and logistic processes and ways of working

  • Arrange shipment of goods in accordance with the agreed freight tender and Incoterms

  • All aspects of order cycle for cased goods and POS (from order receipt to invoice/documentation)

  • Prepare export documentation in adherence to country mandatories including legalisation

  • Maintain and accurately update all customer master data, customer cards/records, including pricing

 

To be considered for this vacancy you must have strong production knowledge across SKU portfolio and experience of juggling various demands on time & resources. Knowledge of Planning processes and SAP & APO systems would be advantageous.
