Due to expansion and promotions within the team an opportunity has arisen within HR for a Group Reward Manager. This role will be a key member of the wider Reward function and support in developing and implementing a globally consistent and locally relevant reward strategy. This role is responsible for key milestones in the annual reward calendar and contributes to developing and implementing new reward programmes, policies and procedures across the group.

 

The HR Reward function’s remit covers Edrington globally, supporting the delivery of reward strategy and activities to c.900 employees in the UK, the Company’s overseas staff (c.1,400 employees) and our joint venture partners (c.750 staff).

 

Reporting to the Group Head of Reward, key responsibilities include:

 

  • Supporting the Group Head of Reward in developing, implementing, and periodically reviewing a globally consistent and locally relevant reward strategy;

  • Leading Reward projects in support of the delivery of our strategic reward fundamentals (transparency, consistency & fairness);

  • Acting as a primary point of contact for reward questions from the business;

  • Managing the annual reward processes for the business;

  • Being pro-active in keeping abreast of legislative changes in reward and external market trends and managing implications and impact of any changes;

  • Managing the reward analysts (one direct report, one matrix) to support their development and ensure high levels of service are provided including focus on pro-active customer service to internal and external stakeholders;

  • Providing consultative technical expertise, advice and guidance regarding compensation and benefits to managers, employees & the wider HR function;

  • Monitoring the HR function budget and updating the Group Human Resources Director and liaising with finance accordingly.

                                                                                           

The successful applicant will have experience in reward, and all areas of reward management, with the ability to be flexible and to work under pressure. Attention to detail is key as are excellent advanced Excel skills. You should be able to demonstrate professionalism and gravitas and have strong influencing, communication and analytical skills.
