A new opportunity has become available at Edrington for an IT Business Partner who will specialise in our TM1 Cognos Planning Analytics software.  Initially the role will focus on TM1 development working closely with the Financial Planning Analyst and Financial planning Manager.  The role will provide excellent development opportunities within IT architecture and project management in the longer term. The role will be based at our Production Site at Great Western Road.

 

The IT Business Partner (TM1 specialist) will report directly to the IT Business Partner, Analytics Team Leader and will work within a small team to assist TM1 users in elaborating their TM1 development requirements and making them reality.

 

Some of the key responsibilities for this role include:

 

  • Proactively identify development opportunities in collaboration with key business stakeholders

  • Analyse complex business problems in specialist domains and identify practical solutions

  • Design and develop TM1 Models/Solutions to excel requirements.

  • Design and develop interfaces between TM1 and Relational Databases (SQL Server).

  • Design and develop applications using TM1 Web.

  • Provide ongoing user training and administrative support for TM1 applications to TM1 key users globally

  • Proactively contribute to Continuous Improvement Initiatives.

 

To be considered for this role you will have previous development experience of working with our TM1 Cognos Planning tool or similar software.  You will be degree qualified with good overall financial knowledge and experience in planning, budgeting and forecasting cycles.  The ability to analyse complex business problems, formulate solutions and implement them successfully will be second nature to you.

The successful applicant will be highly organised with the ability to manage multiple activities at once with the confidence to work cross functionally.  You will be an advanced excel user with excellent attention to detail with a continuous improvement mind-set.
