An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a team of 6 Process Engineers at the Glenrothes Distillery. This is an engineering maintenance position which has resulted following an internal move within the team. The role is responsible for all engineering activity for the distillation plants in the North (Speyside). The purpose of this role is to provide engineering and electrical support and be responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of all process plant and equipment.


Reporting to the Engineering Workshop manager, key responsibilities include;


  • Support in ensuring that the plants run 24/7

  • Maintenance and repair of all Edrington Group plant and equipment

  • Installation of capital expenditure projects.

  • Complete maintenance recording and monitoring job cards.

  • Part of a 1 – week in seven on call system with overtime working required during periods of high workload

  • Ongoing personal training and development.

  • All appropriate activities delegated by Engineering Manager




To succeed in this role will need to be qualified in an electrical or engineering based trade. You will have a sound knowledge of health & safety, with an awareness of environmental and business systems. You will be able to work unsupervised while also being able to demonstrate an ability to adapt in an environment of continuous improvement and service level achievement.
