Senior Marketing Manager – Global Travel Retail - Singapore

Based in Singapore, the key purpose of this role is to lead, manage, and execute the appropriate marketing/brand programmes, activities and other brand related projects across Global Travel Retail. The role will lead the brand planning process and design the Global Marketing strategy, in collaboration with the Managing Director, Regional Directors and Marketing Managers, with the aim to drive brand power within the Travel Retail channel.


Reporting to the Regional Managing Director, Global Travel Retail, this role is responsible for:


  • Leading the brand planning cycle across Global Travel Retail regions to execute the brand strategy and deliver against key nationalities & global shopper needs.

  • Overseeing implementation of annual brand plans to deliver activities consistent with global brand strategies.

  • Ensuring alignment and sign-off of key GTR marketing initiatives in order to fully adhere to brand guidelines and seek approval by the Brand teams, when required.

  • Leading and coordinate Key Global Travel Retail initiatives in close partnership with brand teams.

  • Making recommendations of programs and promotions needed to improve performance.

  • Sharing Best Practice across all markets and harmonize use of marketing tools and assets.

  • Defining A&P strategic guidelines and assist in preparation of forecasting and budgeting of A&P providing input, support and overview of the brand planning process.

  • Guiding branding, distribution and portfolio management using airport prioritization data.

  • Guiding execution at the annual Duty Free Trade Shows in Cannes, Singapore and Orlando.


The successful applicant will have a University degree within Marketing/Business Development/Mass Communication, and experience of working within a marketing function, preferably from the luxury/Blue Chip companies and/or travel retail industry with a solid interest and knowledge of working in the drinks industry. With the ability to influence and work with remote teams, they will have strong interpersonal and communication skills. A good systems knowledge is essential (Microsoft, Photoshop).

The job holder will have proven excellent leadership capabilities and a highly motivated, dynamic and proactive approach.

Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. In order to apply, you should have the ability to travel on a regular basis.
