​We have an exciting vacancy in our Site Services Support team. This role is responsible for carrying out site services tasks across Edrington's Speyside facilities. The purpose of this role will be to support the smooth running of site operations by providing a proactive and reactive service, meeting the needs of the various departments within the Speyside sites. Alongside, ensuring the Macallan Estate maintains a high standard of workplace presentation both internally and externally.


Reporting to the Site Services Team Leader, key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Equipment testing and checks on fire protection systems.
  • Interrogate Building Management System (BMS) for various sites, identify issues and rectify or escalate as appropriate.
  • Interrogate fire detections systems, Heat/Smoke/Vesda within Macallan, Parkmore and Glenrothes sites and rectify or escalate as appropriate.
  • Grounds maintenance, including using appropriate machinery.
  • Carry out daily boiler checks and weekly evaporation checks within Macallan Distillery.
  • Maintain and test fire system sprinkler valve sets.
  • Carry out weekly / monthly sampling of water systems to ensure compliance with Legionella regulations.


To succeed in this role, you will have a good understanding of process infrastructure (sprinkler systems, fire alarm panels and boilers), experience of carrying out risk assessments including suitable qualifications i.e. IOSH Managing Safely and good knowledge of the Environmental regulations. Experience with Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel, would be beneficial and good problem-solving skills and the ability to take an innovative approach are essential.  


A full clean driving licence is required for this position.  ​
