As we grow and expand the EMEA Travel retail team, we have another exciting opportunity to join the team on a permanent basis. Working within the Supply chain team, the role holder will be responsible for the analysis and delivery of supply demands operating within inventory and availability targets for Edrington brands across the EMEA region.

This position reports into the Senior Chain manager and will work closely with brand owners, third party logistic (3PL) suppliers and the wider Global Edrington Supply chain team.


Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Understand business model, supply chain, logistics network, brands, market sectors and key customers
  • Manage stock levels appropriately to provide availability above the agreed monthly and yearly target levels. Proactively minimise excess, sell out and obsolete stock to reduce the risk of write-off.
  • Manage/Oversee all stock movements in the warehouse and keep stock discrepancies to a minimum and within KPI targets.
  • Support requirements of regular monthly performance reviews
  • Follow the key steps of the planning cycle to meet the purchase plan submission deadlines with Brand Owners
  • Placing purchase orders and expediting them to ensure delivery is on time and in full.
  • Attend monthly brand partner operation reviews.  Support the key issues, measures and actions to help manage performance.
  • Support the co-packing replenishment process. Liaise closely with 3rd party co-packing suppliers and demand planning to ensure availability / inventory KPI’s are met.
  • Publish a range of reports, including daily stock availability and operational data, monthly supplier performance and KPI’s, proactively highlighting risks and opportunities and taking appropriate action.
  • Complete inventory analysis exercises and ensure master data is reviewed and updated on a quarterly basis
  • Establish robust working relationships with key contacts across all brand owners and supply chain team.
  • Become the primary contact between our Brand Owner’s supply chain teams and Business Service Centre.
  • Become an integral team member of the Portfolio Management Meeting team in order to ensure new SKU’s are brought into the business seamlessly.
  • Actively working with various departments to analyse and establish stock coverage profiles and ABC categorisation.


Previous Supply Chain experience and knowledge is required for this role, ideally within purchasing, logistics, or supply planning. Strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills are essential along with an ability to prioritise effectively. SAP/MRP experience would be advantageous, as well as being proficient in Excel.
