As the scope of responsibilities within the Treasury team increases, a new and exciting opportunity has been created for a permanent Treasury Reporting Manager. This role will report directly to the Group Treasury Manager and will be based at 100 Queen Street, Glasgow.

 

This role will be responsible for monthly KPI and annual statutory reporting, in addition to the population of treasury information for plan forecast.  The post holder will work in close collaboration with the group finance and forecasting teams to build a robust model to analyse net debt and working capital variance.

 

Some of the key responsibilities for this role include:

 

  • Financial reporting for all treasury related balances.This incorporates IFRS disclosures for statutory accounts

  • Monthly KPI reporting, preparation of budgets and forecasts and cash flow forecasting
  • Produce a monthly Group operational cash flow and reconcile the position to the group finance forecast to analyse working capital movements and support liquidity management decisions

  • Preparation and completion of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and monthly updates for treasury related balances within UK entities
  • Provide insightful commentary on cash, debt, interest and FX variances to budget and forecast
  • Prepare debt covenants calculations on a semi-annual basis
  • Lead treasury reporting control audits
  • Liaise with global treasury teams and finance teams on treasury reporting
  • Provide input and consideration into hedge accounting for entire Group
  • Liaise with external audit on treasury related matters

  • Assist the Group Treasury Manager in leading and developing the treasury team.

 

 

To be considered for this role you will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or CA) ideally within an FMCG background.  You will have previous experience in treasury accounting and/or cash management principles.  You will have the confidence and gravitas to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders cross functionally at all levels

 

The successful applicant will be highly organised to manage multiple activities at once.  Attention to detail and a continuous improvement mind-set are considered essential qualities.
