In preparation for the upcoming season, a number of exciting opportunities have become available to join the Highland Park team through the role of Visitor Experience Hosts. A mixture of full-time and part-time shifts will be accommodated over 7 days.



Reporting to the Brands Heritage Manager, key responsibilities for this role will be:



  • To greet all visitors with the best Orcadian welcome and delivering a consistently high quality visitor experience in line with our 5 star Visit Scotland criteria across all areas of the Highland Park Distillery.
  • Through engagement and personal drive ensure that every guest leaves having had a distinctive Viking Soul guided experience.
  • Ensure that the visitor experience is presented as a 5 star, quality attraction at all times, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organisation in both customer and non-customer facing areas.
  • Ensure all systems and procedures laid down by each department are followed with detailed accuracy.
  • Ensure you are aware of the daily business needs by attending the daily brief (if appropriate), referring to the daily sheets, notice boards, diaries and rosters.
  • Complete all training deemed appropriate to ensure effective job performance and is up to date with all relevant visitor experience and brand information and education materials.
  • To ensure that the visitor experience offering is constantly exceptional and in line with the brand’s Viking Soul personality.

  • Good working knowledge of health and safety in a visitor experience environment including clean and clear tour areas, including areas of access and egress.
