As a member of the waiting staff team in our new Visitor Experience, you will be required to ensure that customer service is outstanding and that the quality of service and engagement with, and attentiveness to, customers is ‘best in class’. This will be done by ensuring all customers receive timely and efficient food delivery and crockery collection, as well as ensuring that food and beverages are served in a manner which exceeds visitor expectations.
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, key responsibilities of this role include:
Providing exceptional customer service at all times to exceed visitor expectations
Ensuring a friendly and professional approach to service
Maintaining high standards of hygiene
Ensuring clean crockery, cutlery and glassware is available for service
Completing seamless table turnarounds in an efficient manner
Ensuring cleanliness of all eating and service areas to health and hygiene best practice guidelines
Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of The Macallan menu and cooking techniques to ensure that you are knowledgeable about the service offering and can make recommendations to customers if required
Learning about food safety techniques and practicing safe manual handling to move food supplies if required
Basic food preparation, where required
To succeed in this role you will have previous experience in a customer facing role, ideally within a catering environment.
