£10.16 per hour uplifting to £13.62 per hour when training is completed + excellent benefits package


Following the recent expansion of our Macallan warehousing operations we have a requirement to recruitment  two Warehouse Operators . These will be a full-time temporary opportunities concluding at the end of June 2019.  The shift patterns are:-  dayshift from 7.45am - 4.30pm Monday - Thursday and 7.45am - 12.15pm on a Friday (37.5 hours).  The Backshift pattern is,  3.00pm -11.00pm Monday –Thursday and Friday 11.30am - 19:30pm (37.5 hours per week).

This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient daily operation of our current warehouse processes at Macallan.  The warehouse supervisor will organise the day to day activities of the warehouse team.  A key aspect of the role will involve working closely with the warehouse and production teams. This role also ensures that the warehouse squads are fully manned and utilised to achieve KPIs.


Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, key tasks and responsibilities of these roles include:

  • Movement of full and empty casks as required

  • Loading and off loading full and empty casks to/from vehicles

  • Competent in the stowing & de-stowing operations

  • Preparing casks for filling

  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping

  • Monitor of cask conditions during the maturation process

  • Competent in the use of the cask scanning equipment

  • Maintain warehouse security

  • Ensure all aspects of operational systems and procedures are complied with

  • Available for any other duties on site within the operators capabilities as directed

  • Carry out control checks as required, draw samples, re-gauge casks prior to dispatch, sensory checks on mature spirit prior to disgorging to tanker
